“Bridging Art Deco: A Hidden Heritage from Istanbul to Brussels” is now opening its doors in Istanbul
Organised by Beinsitu Sustainability Institute, docomomo_Türkiye National Working Group and Yıldız Technical University, and supported by the Permanent Delegation of Türkiye to the European Union, the Embassy of Türkiye in Brussels, and Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi, the exhibition continues its journey after its successful presentations in Brussels.
Meeting visitors for the third time, the exhibition was first presented in Brussels at the Permanent Delegation of Türkiye to the European Union, where it was open to the public for two weeks, coinciding with Heritage Days. Following the strong interest it received, the exhibition was also featured at the 29 October Republic Day Reception hosted by the Embassy of Türkiye in Brussels.
Bringing to light Istanbul’s hidden Art Deco heritage, the exhibition will be open to visitors from 23 February to 13 March at the Faculty of Architecture Dean’s Hall, Yıldız Technical University.
The opening ceremony will take place on Monday, 23 February, with opening speeches at 14:30, followed by the exhibition opening at 15:30.
