Award-Winning Children’s Book Author from Türkiye, Tülin Kozikoğlu, and Illustrator Murat Kalkavan from North Macedonia Meet Young People in Brussels!
Tülin Kozikoğlu and Murat Kalkavan will meet young people aged 15–19 at Bib Sophia Library on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 to lead an illustrated children book design workshop.
During the program, participants will learn the intricacies of designing an illustrated book—from creating a story and visualizing it, to character drawing and designing a three-dimensional book. In this workshop, which combines hands-on activities and side events, young participants will also gain insights into game design and explore the potential of turning the stories they create into games.
We encourage young people aged 15–19 who are interested in art, storytelling, literature, drawing, visualization, and book design to apply for the workshop!

The event is organized by Beinsitu Sustainability Institute, with the support of Bib Sophia Library, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Brussels, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye.

A New European Bauhaus Satellite Event
Organised by Beinsitu Sustainability Institute
It is an online talk gathering of emerging talents and independent initiatives working in sustainability in different localities with a bottom up approach. Through presentations and discussions, participants will exchange knowledge and build connections across and beyond Europe. The forum aims to strengthen the sustainability community and create a digital archive of emerging practices and projects. Beinsitu will continue this talk series to support the visibility of local resilience and sustainable practices.
