As part of the Art Deco Year of Brussels 2025, we explored some of Brussels’ green spaces from the interwar period where landscape heritage meets contemporary urban life. We took a tour in the art of 20th-century gardens.

The Wielemans Hotel was designed in 1924 by Adrien Blomme after the family’s inspiring journey through Andalusia.

With its Hispano-Moorish influences, restored fountains, molten glass mosaics, and shingle paths, it is a timeless elegance of Art Deco.

Thanks to CIVA Brussels’ Garden Tales project, we gained rare access to this private gardens.
