We had the privilege of visiting the Museum of Natural Sciences in Brussels thanks to a special invitation.
Beyond its scientific mission, the museum is a great example of how architecture supports research, education, and public engagement. Its expansion in the 20th century, led by architect Lucien de Vestel, introduced modernist and Art Deco elements that remain integral to the institution’s identity today. ✨
Originally housed in the historic Léopold Park convent, the museum expanded over decades to meet the needs of science and research.
